Job summary

Suir Engineering Ltd. is seeking Pipe Pressure Testers for a semi-conductor project in Leixlip, Co. Kildare. You will perform hydrostatic and pneumatic tests on process piping, ensuring safety and accuracy across test boundaries and documentation.

You will read P&IDs and isometric drawings, operate testing equipment, and work closely with pipefitters, welders, QA/QC, and other trades to ensure systems are ready for testing. Opportunities to travel on European projects exist.

Qualifications

• Experience in pipe pressure testing, hydrostatic and pneumatic testing.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and isometric drawings.
• Familiarity with test packs and mechanical layouts.

Responsibilities

• Carry out hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing on pipework and tubing.
• Prepare systems for testing, checking boundaries, valves, blinds, vents, drains, and connections.
• Set up and operate testing equipment per procedures.
• Read P&IDs and drawings; monitor test pressures and durations.
• Identify leaks or issues and report findings.
• Safely depressurise and reinstate systems after testing.
• Complete test records and certificates; coordinate with other trades.
