Job summary

Technify Talent in Leixlip, Ireland is seeking Field Services Engineers to provide hands-on technical support at local customer sites for advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment. You will install, configure, and upgrade equipment, diagnose faults with digital tools, and carry out preventative maintenance across electrical, mechanical, vacuum, plasma, hydraulic and gas systems.

The role requires working with customers to maximise uptime in a 24/7 shift environment, and includes up to 10

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a relevant technical discipline.
• Experience in field service, customer support or a similar technical engineering role.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Proven troubleshooting and fault-finding experience.
• Practical understanding of mechanical, electrical, vacuum, pneumatic or hydraulic systems.
• Comfortable using hand tools and diagnostic equipment such as multimeters.
• Strong customer-facing communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and upgrade advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment
• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues using digital diagnostic and analytical tools
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance across electrical, mechanical, vacuum, plasma, hydraulic and gas systems
• Interpret electrical and mechanical schematics to identify and resolve technical faults
• Work directly with customers to maximise equipment performance and uptime
• Take ownership of technical issues from initial diagnosis through to resolution
• Support critical customer operations within a 24/7 shift environment
