Job summary

Apleona GmbH is seeking a Security Officer to join our team in Donegal Town. Working pattern is Mondays and Tuesdays, 7am to 3pm. This is a fixed-term contract lasting 44 weeks.

You will provide security services on client sites, manage access cards and visitor logs, monitor CCTV, conduct patrols, and liaise with the client’s National Call Centre about issues or emergencies. • Minimum 2 years experience in corporate security.
• Computer literacy required.
• Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
• Strong communication skills.
• Hardworking, reliable and flexible.
• Must have a valid PSA License.
• 5 year background check.

Responsibilities

• Organise access cards for staff and visitors.
• Manage site visitor logbook.
• Follow on-site security requirements, including patrols.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and footage.

• Searching people and vehicles as required.
• Report any security events in the onsite log.
• Deal with emergency situations, including evacuations.
• Establishing parameter and access control.
• Support emergency services.
• Complete the onsite paperwork per quality procedures.
• Liaise with client and National Call Centre regarding security issues.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• To provide security services on client sites as required in line with client and company procedures, ensuring that all relevant legislation is always adhered to.
• Present for work at the designed time at the location required
• Organise access cards for staff and visitors.
• Manage site visitor logbook
• Follow on-site security requirements, including but not limited to internal and external patrols
• Monitoring CCTV cameras and footage
• Access control and monitoring
• Searching people and vehicles as and when required
• Report any security events in the onsite log
• Deal with emergency situations, including but not limited to Initial alerts and evacuations
• Establishing parameter and access control
• Support emergency services
• Complete the onsite paperwork in a clear format, adhering to all quality procedures both from a company and client perspective
• Liaise with client and their National Call Centre regarding any security issues or problems
