Job summary

Apleona UK is seeking a Full-Time Security Officer based in Clonmel, Tipperary. Night shifts may be required, with a 24-hour per week pattern across Monday to Sunday. The role includes on-site patrols, CCTV monitoring, access control, and emergency response support.

Qualified candidates hold a valid PSA Licence, consent to a 5-year background check, and are eligible to work in Ireland. Strong communication and flexibility are essential.

Responsibilities

• Present for work at the designed time at the location required.
• Carry out on-site security patrols as required.

• Search people and vehicles as required.
• Report security events in the onsite log.
• Assist with emergencies and evacuations.
• Coordinate with client and National Call Centre on security issues.
• Complete on-site paperwork per quality procedures.
• Ad-hoc duties from Security Manager.

  We are currently recruiting for a Full-Time Security Officer to be based in Clonmel, Tipperary

  Shift Pattern: Monday to Sunday, 24 hours per week

  Main duties and responsibilities

  • Present for work at the designed time at the location required
  • Follow on site security requirements including but not limited to internal and external patrols
  • Monitoring CCTV cameras and footage
  • Access control and monitoring
  • Searching people and vehicles as and when required
  • Report any security events in the onsite log
  • Deal with emergency situations including but not limited to Initial alert and evacuations
  • Establishing parameter and access control
  • Support emergency services
  • Complete the onsite paperwork in a clear format adhering to all quality procedures both from a company and client perspective
  • Liaise with client and their National Call Centre regarding any security issues or problems
  • Any ad-hoc duties assigned to you by the Security Manager

  Qualifications and experience

  • Must have a valid PSA Licence
  • Successful candidate will also be required to consent to 5-year background check, offer is subject to passing background check
  • Must be eligible to work in Ireland
  • Strong communication skills
  • Hardworking, Reliable and Flexible
