Job summary

Bidvest Noonan is seeking a proactive Security Control Room Operator to monitor client-site security from a control room, respond to incidents, and coordinate responses to maintain safety and security. You will handle CCTV and alarm monitoring, maintain logs, and work with on-site teams during shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a security control room or similar environment.
• Valid PSA Security Licence (or eligible to obtain one).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Good IT skills, including CCTV and access control systems.
• Flexible shift work, including nights, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV, alarm systems, access control systems and other security platforms.
• Respond to alarms and incidents in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain logs and records of events and security-related activities.
• Coordinate with onsite teams, management, contractors and client representatives as required.
• Escalate incidents in accordance with procedures.
• Conduct routine system checks and report faults or concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all company, client and regulatory requirements.
• Produce reports and maintain clear communication during shifts and handovers.
