Job summary

Amazon Data Services Ireland Limited in Dublin seeks a Security Industry Specialist to lead regulatory and security assurance initiatives across AWS. You will own complex audits, map controls to risk libraries, and drive tooling that strengthens our security posture at scale.

The role collaborates with service teams and auditors, developing frameworks, communicating status to stakeholders, and building innovative solutions to meet evolving regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with technology risk, IT security audit, and regulatory knowledge.
• Experience performing technical audits/assessments in support of major compliance efforts (ISO, NIST, SOX, PCI, HIPAA, GDPR).
• Bachelor's degree or above in accounting, information systems, finance, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of AWS control environment and security posture.
• Perform service, feature, and related assessment work for audits and compliance.
• Collaborate with service and infrastructure teams to deliver tooling for security initiatives.
• Communicate assessment results and remediation plans to auditors and stakeholders.
