Job summary

Advancis Identity Solutions, a leading software company in the security and building management sector, seeks a Software Engineer for an on-site role in Greater Dublin. You will design, implement, and maintain software components for security and building management solutions, focusing on reliability, scalability, and third-party integrations.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management and QA to ensure features meet security, performance, and usability

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in computer science concepts including algorithms and data structures.
• Hands-on experience in software development with C# and backend or systems development.
• Practical skills in back-end web development, APIs, microservices, and database integration.
• Solid understanding of OOP for maintainable software solutions.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/SE or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with secure coding practices and familiarity with security or building management domains is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team with clear communication and problem-solving.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development methodologies is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain software components for security and building management solutions.
• Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews.
• Debug and resolve issues; collaborate with cross-functional teams on design and architecture.
• Contribute to technical documentation and improve development processes.
