Job summary

Sheri­dans Cheesemongers Ltd. in Naas is hiring seasonal team members for the Christmas period. Roles include serving customers, cheese prep, hampers and behind‑the‑scenes work. No prior cheesemongering experience is required, just a willingness to learn and enjoy working with customers and a team.

You’ll receive in-house training and work with experienced cheesemongers; there’s a great staff discount on Sheridans products. Flexible shifts available across full/part-time hours.

Qualifications

• Interest in cheese or artisan foods preferred but not required.
• Friendly, confident communication and willingness to engage with customers.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work well as part of a team in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and providing friendly service in a busy retail environment.
• Learning about and sharing knowledge of cheese and artisan foods.
• Helping customers choose products and discover new flavours.
• Preparing, caring for, and displaying cheese and other products to a high standard.
• Supporting deliveries, stock rotation and keeping the shop well organised.
• Preparing and presenting festive food hampers.
• Keeping counters and fridges clean and tidy.
• Contributing to a smooth customer experience during the Christmas period.
