Job summary

Amazon seeks a strong software engineer to design and deliver components for a multi-region, multi-tenant incident management platform. You will own data layer, authorization, API surface, and build integrations with incident automation systems, driving reliability and performance.

You\'ll mentor other engineers, participate in design reviews, and apply agentic AI development practices to ship production-ready code quickly across AWS regions.

Qualifications

• Experience (non-internship) in professional software development.
• Experience designing, building, operating, and managing large-scale distributed systems or web services.
• Experience using generative AI tools to accelerate engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement service components for a multi-region, multi-tenant incident management platform.
• Own subsystems including the data layer, authorization, and API surface.
• Build integrations with incident automation systems, conference bridges, and downstream event consumers.
• Drive technical design decisions balancing reliability, performance, and delivery speed.
• Mentor other engineers and lead technical design reviews.
