Job summary

MetLife Ireland is seeking a Scrum Lead for its DevSecOps & Cloud team to drive agile practices across regional programs in EMEA. You will organize scrum teams, promote Agile values, and collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a healthy backlog and predictable releases.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant work or project experience.
• 3–6 years in a corporate IT environment, preferably in insurance/financial/healthcare.
• 1+ years as a Scrum Master for technical programs with Cloud or DevOps components.
• Experience in Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban).
• Ability to identify risks to project success and escalate to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Lead onshore and offshore scrum teams in moderate to complex work streams.
• Promote Agile values, principles, and practices within the team.
• Facilitate transparency and a continuous learning mindset.
• Support short and long-term release planning with a healthy backlog.
• Manage interdependencies between teams and address impediments.
• Track agile metrics (CFD, Burndown/Up, velocity) and report to stakeholders.
• Coach teams in Agile engineering practices (CI/CD, test automation, BDD).
