Job summary

The Lunch Bag in Ireland is seeking a Canteen Lunch Operative to join our team and help deliver healthy school meals with care and attention to safety. You will load pre-packaged meals into ovens, heat them to the correct temperature under HACCP guidelines, unload and crate meals, and deliver lunches to the canteen, ensuring stock levels are maintained and records kept.

Training in HACCP and Manual Handling will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Load pre-packaged school meals into ovens.
• Turn on oven and heat meals to specific temperature according to HACCP guidelines.
• Unload ovens and load into crates.
• Bring the lunches to the canteen.
• Ensure adequate stock levels.
• Follow and maintain work and cleaning schedule.
• Maintain temperature and cleaning records.
