Job summary

Hilltop Community Resources in Grand Junction, CO seeks a part-time cosmetology professional to perform a range of hair and beauty services and client care. The role requires a cosmetology license, completion of schooling, and four years of related experience; background checks and health clearances are part of the process.

Wage range starts at $16.60–$17.43 per hour with part-time Monday and Tuesday shifts.

Qualifications

• Completion of cosmetology schooling is required.
• Four years of related experience is required.
• Valid state Cosmetology License is required for each procedure performed.

Responsibilities

• Consults with clients to understand desired service and results.
• Shampoos, conditions, dries hair and applies products for straightening, curling or styling.
• Cuts, trims and styles hair or hairpieces per client wishes.
• Waxes, bleaches, shapes, shaves, or trims facial hair.
• Colors, highlights, or perms hair per client wishes.
• Schedules and performs manicures and pedicures.
• Maintains clean, safe, sanitized work areas.
• Drafts and designs advertising strategies as needed.
• Creates and maintains service records for clients.
• Manages payment reconciliation and reporting to the business office.
• Attends trainings as requested.
