Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a field-based FMCG Sales Representative to cover Dunnes Stores nationwide from Dublin. You will drive distribution, execute promotions, and build activations with store management to maximise sales.

The role requires a full clean driving licence, proven experience selling into Dunnes, and knowledge of FMCG channels (SuperValu & Convenience). You will need energy, strong communication, and solid time management to meet targets.

Qualifications

• Full clean driving licence required.

• Nationwide role; nights will be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nationwide sales coverage in Dunnes stores to the core sales team.
• Increase business and maximise sales.
• Adhere to call file and journey plan; deliver agreed objectives.
• Implement planograms and promotions to improve distribution and availability.
• Record data accurately and submit daily; build activations in line with targets.
• Communicate effectively with store management and line managers.
• Generate new ideas and ways of working to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• To provide Nationwide sales cover in Dunnes to the core sales team
• To increase business and maximise sales
• To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by your line manager
• Adhere to a defined retail call file and journey plan
• Deliver and execute the agreed objectives and targets as set out by your line manager
• To increase Distribution and Availability within store of core range and process appropriate orders electronically for all stores to prevent gaps
• To increase Distribution and Availability within store by implementing national and locally agreed planograms and promotions
• Record all data accurately and submit in a timely manner on a daily basis
• Sell in and build activations in line with company targets
• Merchandising off sales
• To understand and identify the needs of the customer
• Communicate effectively with store management and line managers
• Provide feedback at regular intervals through verbal communication with your manager/coach and through electronically generated spreadsheets
• Constantly strive to reach highest standards of performance
• Maintain CPM and Client standards at all times
• Attend a team conference call once a week and team meeting once a month/Qtr.
• To generate new ideas and ways of working
• To consistently strive to reach highest standards of performance for customers
• To ensure at all times that you operate in an effective and efficient manner to complete all tasks

Requirements

• Full clean driving licence is essential
• Previous experience selling into Dunnes stores is essential
• A good understanding of the FMCG sector with knowledge of both the SuperValu & Convenience channels also essential
