Job summary

Geely Auto UK is establishing a dedicated National Sales Company in Ireland. We seek an ambitious HR & Office Manager who will drive end-to-end HR and day-to-day office operations as the business launches in Ireland.

You will work closely with the Ireland leadership team and the UK HR team to ensure compliant HR delivery, effective workplace management and professional administrative support across the Ireland entity.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in HR operations, office management or a similar generalist role.
  • CIPD qualification and experience in HR administration
  • Strong working knowledge of Irish employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Practical experience in employee lifecycle management and employee relations.
  • Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for HR matters in Ireland, supporting employees and managers across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, probation, employee relations and offboarding etc.
  • Provide practical guidance on Irish employment law, HR policies and procedures, ensuring local practices remain compliant and consistent with company requirements.
  • Coordinate payroll, benefits and HR administration, including contracts, employee records, payroll changes and relevant documentation.
  • Manage day-to-day office operations and facilities, including suppliers, purchasing, health & safety and general administration.
  • Develop and improve HR and office processes to support an efficient and professional working environment.
  • Provide administrative support to the Ireland leadership team, including meetings, travel and employee/company events.
  • Support invoices, expenses and office purchasing, working with Finance and external providers as required.

About The Role

As HR & Office Manager - Ireland, you will be the operational backbone of our business, you will be responsible for delivering effective end-to-end employee lifecycle management while overseeing the day-to-day administration and operation of the Ireland office.

Candidate Requirements
Essential Experience
  • 8+ years’ experience in HR operations, office management or a similar generalist role.
  • CIPD qualification and experience in HR administration

  • Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable Experience And Qualifications
  • Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Business Management, Human Resources or a related field.
