Job summary

JDA WMS Pte Ltd seeks a Sales Engineer with robust CCTV and VMS expertise to design tailored security solutions for customers across Southeast Asia, working mainly with channel partners and system integrators. You will create system architectures, BOMs and proposals while leading demos and POC deployments.

The role includes technical consulting, tender support, and partner enablement, with travel to customer sites for surveys, training and POC rollouts. Prior SEA experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science or related engineering.
• Solid knowledge of CCTV systems, including IP cameras and NVRs.
• Familiarity with AI video analytics and edge computing.
• Hands-on VMS experience: Milestone, Genetec, Luxriot.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server environments (AD, DNS, SAN, NAS).
• Proficiency in preparing diagrams, BOMs and proposals.
• Basic web development (HTML, JavaScript, CSS).
• SQL design, querying and integration.
• Willingness to travel within the region.
• At least 2 years in security systems; SEA experience.

Job description

We are looking for a Sales Engineer with solid technical expertise to join a leading provider of advanced CCTV and video surveillance equipment. Working mainly through channel partners and system integrators, you will design tailored security solutions for customers across Southeast Asia and provide hands‑on technical guidance throughout the sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Proposals:

• Craft CCTV solutions that fit each market, covering cameras, NVRs, storage and networking
• Produce system architecture diagrams, BOMs and proposals

Demos & Proof of Concept (POC):

• Showcase AI analytics, edge processing and third‑party integrations, onsite or online
• Set up and run POC systems at customer sites

Technical Consultation & Support:

• Advise customers before and after the sale
• Assist with VMS integration, configuration, troubleshooting and Edge AI deployments

Tender & Specification Support:

• Prepare technical documents for tenders with sales and channel teams
• Liaise with consultants and specifiers on project specifications

Training & Partner Enablement:

• Run workshops and webinars for partners, distributors and internal teams

Regional Collaboration:

• Support country sales managers in growing the region
• Travel for site surveys, partner visits, training and POC rollouts

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science or a related engineering discipline
• Solid knowledge of CCTV systems, including IP cameras, NVRs, storage and networking
• Familiarity with AI video analytics and edge computing
• Hands‑on VMS experience (e.g. Milestone, Genetec, Luxriot)
• Working knowledge of Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, SAN and NAS
• Proficiency in preparing technical diagrams, BOMs and solution proposals
• Basic web development skills (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
• Understanding of databases, including SQL design, querying and integration
• Ability to travel within the region as required
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in security systems
• Experience working in Singapore and other Southeast Asian markets
