Qualifications

• Experience in service or aftermarket sales for water/wastewater sector.
• Technical understanding of pumps, motors, and rotating equipment.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation, with good interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and build client trust.
• Knowledge of Irish Water or utilities sector is advantageous.

This role focuses on all aspects of service and aftermarket solutions, helping our clients maximise the performance and longevity of their assets, from maintenance and repairs to full retrofits and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers in the water & wastewater sector.
• Promote service and aftermarket solutions, including maintenance contracts, spare parts, upgrades, and retrofits.
• Work closely with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions for rotating equipment, including pumps, motors, and ancillary systems.
• Identify opportunities for growth within customer accounts and convert them into profitable service projects.
• Provide technical support and advice to customers to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, feeding insights back to management.

Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience in service or aftermarket sales, ideally within the water or wastewater sector.
• Technical understanding of rotating equipment, pumps, and motors.
• Strong commercial awareness, with excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, building trust and credibility with clients.
• Knowledge of Irish Water or utilities sector is highly desirable.
