Job summary

Gymnastics Ireland is seeking a motivated SafeSport & Integrity Executive to join our team. The role will support safeguarding and policy management across clubs and at the national level, ensuring a safe and positive experience for participants.

This full-time position offers a 1-year initial contract with potential extension, plus a hybrid working model at the Irish Sport HQ in Dublin. Salary is market-competitive with standard expenses provision.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and professional manner when dealing with members and advisors
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and work both independently and in a team
• Discretion with confidential safeguarding and welfare information

Responsibilities

• Ensure members have a safe and enjoyable experience from club to national level with up-to-date policies and best practices
• Implement and manage GI policies, and educate and support clubs to align with best practices across safeguarding, governance, diversity and more
• Support compliance with Children’s First legislation and fulfill national roles under senior guidance
• Develop innovative initiatives to advance GI values and strategic plan
• Deliver projects/programmes with occasional evenings and weekends as required
