Job summary

Trust In SODA in Dublin is seeking an Architect (SaaS Platform) to own and evolve the technical architecture of a growing EdTech platform. The role reports to the CEO and offers genuine ownership and influence over product development.

You will define target architecture, lead cloud decisions, set data integration standards, and guide AI integration into the CI/CD pipeline while mentoring distributed engineering teams across time zones.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in software engineering with architectural leadership experience.
• Track record designing and evolving SaaS or cloud-native platforms.
• Deep knowledge of microservices, event-driven systems, and modern cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience in high-availability and security-sensitive environments.
• Comfort guiding teams across time zones.
• Experience in EdTech or regulated SaaS is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive target architecture – scalable, secure, resilient.
• Lead decisions on cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and observability.
• Set standards for data and integration architecture, including secure APIs.
• Guide AI strategy: embedding AI/ML into the product, setting standards for AI-assisted development, and building AI evaluation into CI/CD.
• Act as a technical escalation point and mentor across distributed engineering teams.
