Roughan & O'Donovan invites graduates to join a structured rotation programme in civil, environmental and structural engineering. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting project engineers, assisting in design, reporting and contract documentation, while learning through senior staff.

The programme emphasizes practical engineering, strong teamwork and a commitment to safety and quality. Located in Sandyford with established development pathways and CPD support.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil, structural or environmental engineering at NFQ Level 8 or equivalent.
• Fluent English in speaking and writing.
• Work experience in the industry is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Support project engineers and project technicians on assigned projects, fulfilling the project brief in a safe manner.
• Assist the project engineer with design, reporting, contract documentation and contract implementation activities.
• Support senior engineering and administration personnel in day-to-day tasks.
• Attend site and supervise site activities where appropriate.
• Promote adherence to company systems and standards.

• Support project engineers and project technicians on assigned projects, fulfilling the project brief in an efficient, controlled and safe manner
• Support the project engineer in carrying out design, reporting, contract documentation, checking and contract implementation activity
• Support senior engineering and administration personnel in their day-to-day activities
• Attend site and supervise and monitor site activities where appropriate
• Promote adherence to our systems and standards
• Degree in civil, structural or environmental engineering or equivalent (Minimum Level 8 in the National Framework of Qualifications or equivalent)
• Keen interest in the practical application of engineering
• Strong analytical skills
• Good teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong work ethic
• Fluency/high level of proficiency in spoken and written English
• Work experience in the industry
