Job summary

Cheeverstown House is seeking a registered nurse (NMBI) to join our Nursing staff across Cheeverstown Campus and South Dublin services. The role focuses on person-centred care for adults with intellectual disabilities and requires flexibility for days, sleepovers, nights and weekends.

The successful candidate will need good IT skills, strong English communication, and a collaborative approach to lead the nursing team in delivering high-quality care. A full driving licence is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland in the RNID Division.
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in the area of Intellectual Disability.
• Strong command of English (verbal and written).
• Knowledge of HIQA Standards and Health Act Regulations 2013 is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to persons with intellectual disabilities across Cheeverstown Campus and South Dublin services.
• Support transitions of campus residents to supported living in the community.
• Lead and assist nursing team to deliver person-centred care and maintain service quality.
