Job summary

Avista is a progressive organisation providing Day, Residential and Respite supports to both Children and Adults in locations across 3 Regions. We seek Staff Nurses for Dublin Day Services in D15, D11 and D7 areas, on a permanent full-time contract (37.5 hours/week). Salary subject to public sector experience and pro-rated for hours of work.

Qualifications

• Have up to date NMBI Registration.
• Experience working in the area of intellectual disability.
• Full clean Irish manual driving licence.
• Proficiency in the English Language.
• Intellectual Disability Nurse Registration (RNID).
• Knowledge of person-centred planning and an awareness of New Directions.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Have experience of supporting people to integrate into their community
• Adopt a holistic and person centre approach to your role to ensure people are supported to live their best live and develop skills and competencies around identified areas of interest and learning.
