As Decta continues to grow in scale, transaction volumes and regulatory complexity, the demands on the Risk Function continues to increase. A dedicated Risk Analyst will enable the
Chief Risk Officer to focus on strategic oversight, Board engagement, regulatory interaction and the continued development of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, while ensuring that day-to-day risk management activities are performed consistently and within required timeframes.
The role will also address a key-person dependency within the second line of defence. By providing operational support and cross-training to undertake core risk activities during periods of
annual leave, illness or other absences, the Risk Analyst will help ensure continuity of critical risk oversight, including incident management, KRI monitoring, risk reporting, action tracking, business continuity activities and regulatory support. This strengthens the resilience of the Risk Function and reduces the risk of disruption to key governance processes.
The appointment will enhance Decta's operational resilience by improving the timely identification, assessment and escalation of risks, strengthening oversight of important business services, and supporting compliance with DORA, the EBA Guidelines on Internal Governance and CBI expectations.
Overall, the role reduces operational risk, mitigates key-person dependency and helps ensure that the organisation maintains an effective and resilient second line of defence as it continues to grow.
