Job summary

Primark in Ireland is seeking a Solution Architect (RFID) to design and deliver RFID solutions that enhance inventory accuracy, stock visibility and operational efficiency across our global retail estate. You will shape scalable architectures and work with business, technology and delivery teams to drive measurable value.

The role requires strong RFID design experience in large-scale retail or supply chain contexts, with a focus on security, performance and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience designing RFID solutions for large-scale retail or supply chain environments.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and stock visibility processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience integrating RFID platforms with enterprise applications and operational systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of end-to-end RFID solutions aligned with business requirements and enterprise architecture standards.
• Develop and maintain solution architectures, technical designs, blueprints and documentation.
• Provide architectural governance and technical leadership throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.
• Collaborate with business, product and engineering teams to define scalable technology solutions.
• Ensure solutions meet security, performance, resilience and scalability requirements.
• Evaluate technologies, vendors and solution options, providing recommendations and managing technical risks.
• Support successful implementation and integration of RFID capabilities across retail and supply chain platforms.
