Job summary

MACOM in Cork, Ireland, invites graduates to join our RF design team. Based at Eastgate, Little Island, you will simulate high-frequency ICs, review designs, and develop test plans to validate performance.

You will work with RF PCB layouts, characterize RF performance with network analyzers, and troubleshoot issues within a multi-disciplinary team. The role requires a Degree in Electronic Engineering and being a recent graduate (or due to graduate in 2025).

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic Engineering is required.
• Recent graduate or graduating in 2025.
• Familiarity with RF concepts is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Simulate and design high-frequency RF/ICs using CAE tools.
• Complete design reviews and develop test plans for validation.
• Evaluate prototype designs in state-of-the-art labs.
• Characterize RF performance using network analyzers.
• Troubleshoot design and test issues.
• Design RF PCB layouts and test for signal integrity.
• Collaborate in a multi-disciplined project team.
