Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. in Limerick, Ireland, is seeking an RF Design Engineer to help define and develop MEMS switch products for high-performance test and instrumentation markets.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including IC layout, manufacturing, applications, and marketing to realise robust designs from concept to production, working on RF modelling, simulation, and conversion to masks for IC manufacture.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Be self-motivated, willing to accept responsibility and show initiative in identifying and solving challenging technical problems.
• Strong teamwork, inter-personal and communication skills.
• Experience with RF modelling tools such as HFSS or ADS, or finite element modelling tools be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Define new MEMS switch products with customers and stakeholders.
• RF design and simulation to meet specifications.
• Collaborate with the IC layout engineer and Manufacturing to convert the design to masks for IC manufacture.
• Work with applications, marketing, backend teams and support groups to bring a product to market on schedule.
• Develop the next generation of core MEMS technology to fuel future MEMS switch roadmaps.
