Job summary

MACOM in Cork, Ireland, is seeking a recent Electronic Engineering graduate to join the RF IC design team. You will simulate and design high-frequency circuits, perform design reviews, and validate prototypes in a cutting-edge lab environment.

You will work with ADS and Cadence tools to characterize RF performance, troubleshoot issues, and design PCB layouts. The role requires strong planning, communication, and teamwork within a global group.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic Engineering.
• Recent Graduate (or due to graduate in 2025).

Responsibilities

• Simulate and design high-frequency integrated circuits using market-leading CAE tools.
• Complete design reviews and develop test plans for validation procedures.
• Evaluate prototype designs in state-of-the-art laboratory.
• Characterization of RF performance using Network analyzers.
• Trouble shoot design and test issues.
• Design RF PCB layouts, reviewing and testing for signal integrity.
• Work within a multi-disciplined project team.
