Job summary

AMD is seeking an RF Application Design Engineer who will join a growing team to advance RF analog/mixed-signal design and validation. You will contribute to high-performance lab work, develop testbenches, and help validate IPs within a global, collaborative environment.

The role targets graduates from 2027 with strong Python and C/C++, familiarity with RF systems, and the ability to work across sites/time zones. A benefits package is described for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Final year of study and expected graduation in 2027.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good collaboration in distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop/Maintain RF laboratory benches for application development and performance validation at the core level.
• Build testbench components to support the next generation IP.
• Maintain or improve current test libraries to support IP level testing.
• Create hardware solutions to validate the IP functional performance.
• Maintain and improve current hardware laboratory environment to speed up the Go To Market plan and improve the debug facility.
• Provide technical support to other teams.
