Job summary

Woodie’s is seeking an experienced Leader to grow and develop our team at the Wellpark Store in Galway, Ireland. You will mentor staff, drive sales, manage cash/stock, and partner with management to achieve goals while maintaining excellent customer service and safety standards.

This full-time role requires a proactive, authentic leader who communicates clearly, engages colleagues, and supports recruitment and development. Competitive salary based on experience.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in retail/operations with leadership experience.
• Experience mentoring store colleagues and delivering customer service excellence.
• Strong communication and people management skills.
• Comfortable with performance discussions and payroll considerations.

Responsibilities

• Delivering extraordinary customer service and mentoring the store team.
• Communicating business goals and objectives to colleagues.
• Identifying local commercial opportunities.
• Managing cash and stock control.
• Supporting payroll/headcount budgeting and recruitment when needed.
• Handling refunds and exchanges.
• Conducting performance appraisals and talent planning.
• Ensuring health and safety regulations and maintaining high standards.
