Job summary

FRS Recruitment is seeking a Store Manager for the Limerick area. The role focuses on leading a high-performing retail team, delivering outstanding customer service, and ensuring stock availability across the store.

You will manage budgets, drive merchandising, and build strong relationships with suppliers and customers while maintaining high standards of store presentation and safety compliance. This is a hands-on leadership role within a fast-moving retail environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in retail management with a proven track record.
• Experience managing direct reports and multiple teams.
• Demonstrated ability to meet targets and deadlines in sales.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest possible standards of customer service throughout the store
• Oversee business unit budget/operating costs; contribute to budgeting and forecasting of operations for financial planning
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers, customers and external bodies
• Manage and control stock levels efficiently and cost-effectively to ensure adequate product availability
• Deliver exemplary standards in store presentation, maximise layout and merchandising for availability and shelf presentation
• Establish, manage and coordinate effective communication with team, sales reps, management and customers
• Ensure set quality standards are met and continuously improved
• Undertake administration work and reporting promptly as required
• Ensure a safe and productive workplace with compliance to regulations
• Manage day-to-day activity to ensure safety, health, housekeeping and environmental compliance
• Keep up to date on industry trends and local market developments
• Maintain security and adherence to company policies
• Drive business development
