Job summary

Pivotal Recruitment Limited is assisting an Irish retailer in Dublin to recruit an experienced Retail Assistant Manager. You will support two Dublin locations, driving sales, merchandising and guest experience in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires leadership experience in retail or food & beverage, with a proactive approach to staff training and inventory control. A competitive benefits package and team-focused environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced retail or food & beverage environment.
• Proven ability to drive sales and deliver strong customer service.
• Hands-on approach to staff training and product knowledge.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store manager in realising or exceeding determined sales plans and target metric objectives.
• Ensure consistent execution of company's marketing and visual presentation.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise on promo displays.
• Train staff on how to drive sales through consistent development of product knowledge and customer service standards.
• Ensure compliance to policies and procedures and report concerns to senior management.
• Maintain proper inventory controls, facilitate inventory transaction and bulk count as guided by senior management.
• Ensure end of day procedures are followed.
