Job summary

Centra Cork City Centre is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent customer service, while driving sales and profitability. You will lead a team, manage rostering and attendance, and uphold store standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role reports to the Store Owner/Store Manager and requires at least 2 years in a management position with strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a management position.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Understanding of how to achieve KPIs and targets.
• Thrives in a fast-paced working environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the store operates efficiently and provides excellent customer service and fresh food.
• Deliver on store targets (sales and profitability) through effective people management.
• Manage rostering, attendance, and workload delegation.
• Maintain merchandising standards and store presentation.
• Support Store Manager and assume responsibility in their absence.
• Engage with new initiatives and adopt new ways of working.
