Job summary

Nike Kildare is looking for a Part-Time Retail Assistant to join our team and provide world-class service to the consumer. An 8hr contract is available, with overtime flexibility, and you will represent the Nike brand on the shop floor, helping customers find the right products and creating a premium brand experience.

You will support store operations, assist coaches, and help train new staff while staying up to date on Nike products and sales trends in a dynamic, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service and/or retail experience preferred.
• Effective communicator, brand ambassador, and collaborative teammate.
• Demonstrated ability to apply product sales techniques.
• Flexible with scheduling and available to work retail hours, which may include day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers and deliver a premium Nike brand experience.
• Assist retail leads in training new employees.
• Support store operations: cash register, incoming/outgoing goods, and visual displays.
• Link online and offline sales or services in the store.
• Inform customers about Nike products and services.

What You Bring

• Using your expertise in the field of exceptional consumer service and product knowledge to serve and deliver a premium brand experience to our consumers.
• Assisting our retail leads and floor managers (Coaches) in training new employees.
• Supporting various store departments (e.g., operating the cash register, managing incoming and outgoing goods, refilling products on the shopfloor, building visual displays) and recommending appropriate products to reach sales targets.
• Using your knowledge for digital devices to create a bond between online and offline sales or services in the store.
• Informing consumers and new teammates about the NIKE products and services.
• Improving your own knowledge via our tools and training courses to stay up to date and to seek more insights on sales trends, NIKE products, services, and culture.
