Primark in Ireland is seeking a Temporary Fixed Purpose Retail Assistant to support our busy stores during peak periods, including the Christmas season.

This part-time role offers 11.5–14 contracted hours per week with shifts spanning late afternoons/evenings and full availability on weekends. A genuine interest in fashion, strong customer service and teamwork are essential, with opportunities to progress in an international retail environment.

Temporary Fixed Purpose Retail Assistant Role

This is a temporary position offering 11.5-14 contracted hours per week.

Flexibility is essential for this role. Applicants must be available to work a variety of shifts, including 4-hour and 7.5-hour shifts, and be able to commit to:

• A minimum of two evening shifts Monday to Friday, with shift patterns including 3:00pm-7:00pm, 5:00pm-9:00pm, and 6:00pm-10:00pm
• Full availability between 7:00am and 10:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays
• Public Holidays, including St. Stephen's Day (26 December 2026) and New Year's Day (1 January 2027)

Qualifications

What will I be doing?

As a Retail Assistant, you’ll be making our customer’s day, every day. Here’s what this looks like in action:

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you help them with things like sizes or styles, purchases, or returns
• Setting up a good-looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms and all the latest fashions, as well as keeping a tidy and well-organised stockroom
• Delivering a fast, friendly, efficient experience at till points, processing queries, voids, and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products on to the shop floor and ensuring they’re all correctly priced - all while making sure everything meets our high standards
