Job summary

Primark Stores Limited in Kilkenny is seeking a Retail Assistant to deliver an exceptional in-store experience for customers. You will help with sizes, styles and returns, keep shelves and fitting rooms tidy, and support till operations while maintaining high standards.

We offer evenings (Thu/Fri) and weekends with full availability over Christmas holidays, a competitive €14.65 per hour plus Sunday premium, plus benefits like pension, staff discounts and progression opportunities internationally.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work flexibly including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with sizes, styles, purchases and returns.
• Maintain an attractive shop floor and tidy stockroom.
• Operate till points and handle queries, voids and returns.
• Receive deliveries and price-check items to meet high standards.

What will I be doing?

As a Retail Assistant, you’ll be making our customer’s day, every day. Here’s what this looks like in action:

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you help them with things like sizes or styles, purchases, or returns
• Setting up a good-looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms and all the latest fashions, as well as keeping a tidy and well-organised stockroom
• Delivering a fast, friendly, efficient experience at till points, processing queries, voids, and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products on to the shop floor and ensuring they’re all correctly priced - all while making sure everything meets our high standards
