Job summary

Primark Stores Limited in Ireland is hiring a Retail Assistant to join our store team and help deliver an exceptional customer experience daily.

You will assist customers with sizes and style choices, set up appealing shop floors, process purchases and returns, and maintain a tidy stockroom. We offer a competitive hourly wage, Sundays premium, and opportunities for career progression across our international network.

Qualifications

• Experience in busy retail environment preferred.
• Ability to assist customers with sizes, styles, purchases or returns.
• Willingness to work two weekday evenings and full Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a great experience helping with sizes, styles, purchases or returns.
• Set up attractive shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms and organized stockroom.
• Deliver fast, friendly service at till points, handle queries, voids and returns.
• Receive, unpack deliveries, price stock to meet high standards.

Availability Requirement: Applicants must be available for two weekday evenings and fully flexible on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, with no planned time off or holidays between the start of the contract and the contract end date.

What will I be doing?

As a Retail Assistant, you’ll be making our customer’s day, every day. Here’s what this looks like in action:

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you help them with things like sizes or styles, purchases, or returns
• Setting up a good-looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms and all the latest fashions, as well as keeping a tidy and well-organised stockroom
• Delivering a fast, friendly, efficient experience at till points, processing queries, voids, and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products on to the shop floor and ensuring they’re all correctly priced - all while making sure everything meets our high standards
