Job summary

Mater Private Cork is inviting applications for a Respiratory Physiologist to support non-invasive respiratory diagnostic testing, including Pulmonary Function testing and Sleep studies that will be developed in coming months.

The role requires a BSc in Clinical Measurement or equivalent, IICMP registration, and at least 3 years post-graduation experience, with strong interpersonal and organizational skills to manage a high-volume workload within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• BSc in Clinical Measurement or an equivalent Level 8 degree.
• IICMP Registration is required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support non-invasive respiratory diagnostic testing including Pulmonary Function testing.
• Develop sleep studies in the coming months and work within a multidisciplinary team.

As part of our continuing expansion, we are currently inviting applications for the role of Respiratory Physiologist who support non-invasive standard respiratory diagnostic testing including Pulmonary Function testing, and Sleep studies which we will develop in the comings months.

Candidate Requirements

• BSc in Clinical Measurement from Dublin Institute of Technology / Technological University Dublin

Or

• An equivalent level 8 degree confirmed by IICMP
• Minimum of 3 years relevant post graduation experience
• IICMP Registration.
• Permission to live and work in Ireland as the urgency of this role will prevent the processing of Work Permits / Visas.
• The successful candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills and an awareness/sensitivity towards patient needs
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage a high volume workload and prioritise effectively
• An ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and collaborate well internally and external to the organisation.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
