Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment seeks a Resilience & Continuity Senior Specialist for Ireland's energy sector. The role focuses on leading the resilience framework, embedding crisis planning into operations, and safeguarding system reliability.

Hybrid working: 2 days onsite, 3 days remote, with a strong emphasis on training and career progression within a well-established energy provider.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in operational resilience roles, preferably in energy.
• Experience in highly regulated industries is acceptable.
• Degree or professional qualification in a relevant discipline.

Responsibilities

• Oversee integration of resilience objectives into design of critical infrastructure, systems, and processes to minimise disruptions.
• Design and govern enterprise-wide continuity and crisis plans, embedding resilience into critical operations.
• Provide guidance during disruptions, coordinating recovery and safeguarding system reliability and stakeholder confidence.
• Integrate resilience into business planning and operational risk assessments.
• Ensure robust governance and transparency.
• Engage external stakeholders including regulators such as the CRU, government agencies, and key suppliers.
