Job summary

GCS Recruitment seeks an experienced Operational Resilience professional to join a growing regulatory team. You will lead assessments, audits, inspections, and assurance activities to strengthen resilience across digital infrastructure and technology sectors.

The role involves engaging senior stakeholders, supporting resilience strategy, and ensuring organisations can prevent, respond to, and recover from disruptions through robust governance and regulatory initiatives.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, Risk, Cyber Resilience, Compliance, or Assurance.
• Background within a regulated environment or critical infrastructure sector.
• Strong understanding of resilience, risk management, governance, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Exposure to frameworks such as NIS2, CER, DORA, ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational resilience assessments, audits, and inspections.
• Evaluate resilience controls, risk management frameworks, and business continuity capabilities.
• Support resilience strategy development and regulatory initiatives.
• Assess preparedness for cyber incidents, infrastructure failures, natural disasters, and other operational threats.
• Drive supervision and enforcement activities, including remediation and follow-up reviews.
• Engage with senior stakeholders and represent the organisation in industry and regulatory forums.
