Autism A Chara is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for a residential setting in Wicklow Town. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and promoting community engagement for individuals with complex needs.

The position requires a QQI Level 5 Health Care qualification, a full Irish driving licence, and a willingness to work evenings and weekends. Comprehensive benefits are offered, including pension and education support.

Qualifications

• Must hold QQI Level 5 Health Care qualification.
• Passion for providing person-centred support to people with complex needs.
• Willingness to work shifts on a rota including evenings, weekends and night duties.

Responsabilités

• Learn about each person’s needs and preferences and tailor support accordingly.
• Adapt communication to suit individual needs.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care.
• Support participation in community activities and learning new skills.
• Help people understand their rights and support decision-making.
