Barrog Healthcare is seeking a Residential Support Worker to provide person-centred care in Cork. The role supports individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities or autism, working to build independence and community inclusion.

Qualifications

• Right to Work in Ireland (Stamp 4) is required.
• Valid Full Driving License required.
• QQI Level 5 in Health or Social Care or equivalent.
• Must be 25 or older for insurance purposes.

Responsibilities

• Support service users with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility needs.
• Promote independence, community integration, and equal citizenship.
• Act as an advocate and involve service users in care plans.
• Accompany individuals to appointments and social activities.
• Manage challenging behaviours using Positive Behavior Support plans.
• Complete required reporting and actively participate in team meetings.
• Duties may adapt as assigned by management to meet service needs.
