Job summary

Autism A Chara (previously Autism Initiatives Ireland CLG) is seeking a Social Care Worker for a residential setting in Stillorgan, Co. Dublin. The role requires 39 hours per week and rota-based shifts including evenings, weekends, and waking night duty.

You will support individuals with complex needs, adhere to PCPs and care plans, and contribute to person-centered care in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• QQI level 7 Award in Social Care or Applied Social Care/Studies/Practice at degree level is essential, with at least 6 months recent experience
• Proof of successful registration with CORU as a Social Care Worker or proof of application in progress with CORU
• Demonstrated knowledge of current legislation and regulations relating to the Social Care Sector
• Understanding of the needs and rights of individuals with autism
• Proven ability to work on own initiative
• Experience delivering and developing support/care plans and PCPs
