Job summary

Conack Construction, a fast-growing Irish contractor, seeks an experienced Site Manager to lead a residential project in Cork city. You will take full ownership of site operations, manage teams and subcontractors, and ensure delivery that is safe, on time, and within budget.

You'll coordinate day-to-day activities, monitor progress and quality, uphold health and safety standards, and liaise with Project Managers and engineers to resolve on-site issues and keep the programme on track.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a Site Manager role or similar.
• Experience with groundsworks, RC frame, precast concrete is essential.
• Strong background in construction site management.
• Proven ability to manage teams and subcontractors on-site.
• Excellent organisation and leadership skills.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations in Ireland.
• Experience delivering construction projects in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations from start through to completion.
• Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure all works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
• Monitor site progress, quality, and programme schedules.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and compliance.
• Liaise with Project Managers, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Resolve on-site issues efficiently to keep the project on track.
• Ensure all works are carried out in line with drawings and specifications.
