Job summary

E-Frontiers is seeking an experienced Site Engineer for our residential developments in County Meath. You will work closely with the Site Manager and project team to ensure safe, on-schedule delivery to quality standards.

The role covers a range of housing and apartment projects across Meath. A Civil Engineering background with site setting out, drawing interpretation and QA/QC experience is essential. A full driving licence and IT skills are required.

Qualifications

Degree or Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or related discipline.
Experience as a Site Engineer in the construction industry.
Residential construction experience is highly desirable, especially housing or apartments.

Responsibilities

Setting out works accurately using total station, GPS and surveying equipment.
Establishing and maintaining site control points, benchmarks and levels.
Reviewing drawings, specs and construction details before and during works.
Ensuring activities meet drawings, specs and quality requirements.
Carrying out quality inspections and maintaining site records.
Monitor groundworks, foundations, drainage, concrete, blockwork and external works.
Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure works are completed correctly and efficiently.
Identify discrepancies between drawings and site conditions and raise technical queries.
Assist with inspection and test plans and documentation handover.
