Job summary

Careeriser-Limited in Ireland is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team. Based in South Dublin, between site and office, you will work alongside Senior Quantity Surveyors on residential new-build projects (houses, duplexes and apartments) and gain experience in cost management and contract administration.

Essentials include a Degree in Quantity Surveying and 3–5 years’ relevant Irish experience; familiarity with Cubit, Cost-ex or equivalent and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying is required.
  • 3-5 years’ relevant experience in Ireland is expected.
  • Familiarity with Cubit, Cost-ex or equivalent and Microsoft Office is required.

Responsibilities

  • Subcontractor management: Assist in managing subcontractor packages, including payments to subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
  • Cost reporting: Support the preparation of monthly internal valuations, cost reports, and budget tracking.
  • Project exposure: Gain hands-on experience with RC frame, apartment, residential building, and commercial projects.
  • Contract administration: Maintain accurate subcontractor and supplier contractual details, ensuring all records are up-to-date.
  • Budget monitoring: Report on project budgets and variations, identifying discrepancies and proposing solutions.
  • Professional development: Take on tasks reflecting increasing levels of development and responsibility as experience grows.
