Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join its residential division in Dundalk. You will support cost reporting, valuations, subcontractor accounts, procurement, and project reporting across multiple housing developments with a mix of office and site work.

Ideal for 1–2 years’ experience, a relevant degree, strong numerical/analytical skills, and a willingness to learn within a supportive commercial team. A full driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related discipline.
• 1–2 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying or commercial role.
• Residential construction experience is desirable but not essential.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Full driving licence required.

Junior Quantity Surveyor – Residential Projects

A leading residential developer is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with 1–2 years’ experience to develop their career with an established developer delivering residential projects across Dundalk.

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced commercial staff, gaining further experience across cost management, subcontractor accounts, procurement, valuations, and project reporting. The role will involve both office and site-based work across a number of residential developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with project cost reporting and valuations.
• Assist with subcontractor accounts and payment applications.
• Monitor project costs and budgets.
• Assist with variations and final accounts.
• Support procurement and tendering of subcontractor packages.

Requirements
