Quantity Surveyor – Junior to Intermediate Level

Necto Search & Selection Ltd is currently representing a growing private residential developer with an established portfolio of housing and apartment developments across the Greater Dublin and Leinster regions.

Due to continued growth, significant private development activity and an existing land bank providing a strong pipeline of projects through 2027 and 2028, the company is looking to appoint a number of Quantity Surveyors at Junior to Intermediate level.

These are excellent opportunities for Quantity Surveyors looking to develop their careers within a progressive developer environment, with access to experienced senior professionals, structured mentorship and clear opportunities for progression.

We are seeking Quantity Surveyors to join the commercial team and support the successful delivery of residential and apartment developments from pre-construction through to completion.

The successful candidates will gain exposure to a broad range of commercial and project-related responsibilities while working closely with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, consultants and senior management.

Positions are available across a number of current and upcoming developments in:

• Blanchardstown
• Bray

Key Responsibilities

Depending on experience, responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the commercial management of residential and apartment developments.
• Preparing and reviewing budgets, cost plans and forecasts.
• Measurement and preparation of quantities.
• Assisting with tender preparation, analysis and procurement.
• Preparing, issuing and assessing subcontractor and supplier packages.
• Reviewing subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Managing and assessing variations and commercial changes.
• Supporting the preparation and agreement of interim valuations and final accounts.
• Monitoring project costs and reporting on commercial performance.
• Assisting with cash-flow forecasting and cost reporting.
• Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and project teams.
• Supporting the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Ensuring commercial processes and reporting are maintained accurately and efficiently.
• Working closely with senior Quantity Surveyors and the wider project team to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
