Job summary

NexVentur group is seeking Health & Safety Advisors to join our site-based team supporting multiple live residential developments in Cork. You will work closely with Site Management and the Regional HSEQ team to uphold high standards of health, safety, environmental and quality compliance.

The role focuses on promoting a positive safety culture, conducting site inspections, risk assessments, inductions and incident investigations, with travel between sites as required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in a construction-based Health & Safety role.
• Relevant Health & Safety qualification (QQI Level 6 or higher in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Experience conducting site inspections, audits and risk assessments.
• Experience supporting accident and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections, audits and safety walkabouts across active construction sites.
• Monitor compliance with safety procedures, safe systems of work and relevant legislation.
• Carry out RAMS and risk assessments for site activities.
• Deliver site inductions for employees, subcontractors and visitors.
• Support Site Management in maintaining Construction Stage Safety Plans and documentation.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses and implement corrective actions.
