Job summary

CPL Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Person in Charge for Intellectual Disability Services in Ireland. You will lead residential centres, ensure HIQA-aligned governance and deliver person-centred care that upholds dignity, choice and independence for service users.

You will manage teams, collaborate with families and multidisciplinary colleagues, and drive continuous improvement in care planning, risk management and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree with NMBI registration or Level 8 Social Care degree.
• Minimum 3 years management experience in health or social care.
• Management qualification at NFQ Level 6 or higher.
• Strong knowledge of HIQA standards and clinical governance.
• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of residential services in line with HIQA standards.
• Drive delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
• Ensure full regulatory and organisational compliance.
• Inspire, support and develop staff teams to thrive.
• Build strong relationships with families and multidisciplinary teams.
