Job summary

Western Care Association is recruiting for a Person in Charge (Social Care Leader Grade) across our services in County Mayo. You will lead and supervise a staff team delivering person-centred support and ensure high-quality service.

You will demonstrate strong leadership, drive innovation, coach staff and collaborate with families, community partners and multidisciplinary teams. A relevant social care qualification (level 7+) and management experience are required; CORU registration is

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years managerial or supervisory experience in the social care sector
• CORU registration desirable; will be expected to work towards registration within timeframe
• Strong leadership in coaching, mentoring and developing staff
• Commitment to equality, inclusion and quality of life for individuals
• Ability to collaborate with families, community leaders and multidisciplinary teams
