Job summary

ST. AIDAN'S SERVICES is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our new residential service. The role focuses on delivering person-centred supports that promote independence, rights and wellbeing in a home and local community setting.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team to help individuals achieve personal goals while upholding HIQA standards and our values of care and respect. Night/day shift availability is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum QQI Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support, Health Service Skills, Community Care, Nursing Studies or similar.
• Minimum of six months experience with people with intellectual disability or autism.
• Proficiency in both oral and written English.
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to drive.
• Available to work mainly night shifts and day/evening shifts if required.
